Our Journey in the Region

Local Investment Management Capabilities

In addition to offering a range of funds and institutional segregated accounts, our offices in the Middle East support Franklin Templeton worldwide with investment research and management, client servicing, and the many administrative functions necessary to manage a successful global asset management company.

For investors looking to capitalise on quality equity and fixed income opportunities in the MENA region, Franklin Templeton offers different strategies combining the strength and vast capabilities of a global asset management leader with the experience of regional experts on the ground.

Regional Multi Asset Solutions

In collaboration with Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) we have the capability to develop multi-asset solutions both with conventional and Shariah-compliant products and strategies tailored to our clients’ specific needs and requirements in the Middle East.

Deep market insights

Our seasoned on‐the-ground investment teams dedicated to the MENA region build portfolios with support of our global research and investment teams.

Proven track record

Based on proprietary research and investment process.

Locally Managed Products include:

Franklin MENA Fund

Find out how the Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity and fixed income securities of companies of any size located or performing business predominately in the MENA region, along with derivative instruments.

Franklin Global Sukuk Fund

A great complement to traditional asset classes, this Fund provides diversification benefits due to historically very low correlation between global Sukuk and other asset classes.

Franklin Gulf Wealth Bond Fund

A unique product in a diverse bond universe across country, issuer and industry. Over the last decade, the GCC growth rates have been in line with emerging markets while GDP per capita has been slightly higher than advanced economies.

Franklin Shariah Global Multi-Asset Income Fund

The Fund will primarily invest in a diversified portfolio of Shariah-compliant equity and fixed income securities (including non-investment grade securities) issued by government, government-related and corporate entities located in developed, developing and emerging countries. The Fund also has the ability to invest in Shariah-compliant "alternatives".
