London, 15 September 2020 – Franklin Templeton1 is pleased to announce the appointment of Harriet Ssentongo as Senior ETF Sales Specialist for the UK market. Based in London, Ssentongo reports to Caroline Baron, Head of ETF Sales EMEA.

In this newly-created position, Ssentongo will be responsible for the development of Franklin Templeton’s UCITS ETF platform Franklin LibertySharesTM2 in the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. Ssentongo will work closely with the existing UK distribution team and focus on leveraging existing client relationships, identifying and targeting new prospects and intermediaries to drive ETF sales for the firm.

Prior to re-joining Franklin Templeton, Ssentongo worked as Director, Benelux & UK Sales at HANetf, where she was responsible for sales and managing client relationships in Switzerland, Finland, Benelux and the UK. Before that, Ssentongo was Director, Private Banking and Wealth Management Sales for the UK and Ireland at WisdomTree Europe and was in charge of sales in the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Switzerland. Her other previous roles include Sales Manager for the Nordics at Bloomberg amongst others. Ssentongo holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in International Public Policy from University College London and a Bachelor’s (BSc) degree in Social Policy from the University of York.
