Michael Cho, CFA

Michael Cho is a vice president for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Investment Grade in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Mr. Cho is responsible for managing U.S. investment grade portfolios for institutional clients with a focus on portfolio construction.

Mr. Cho has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to his current role, he was a U.S. and Global Investment Grade portfolio manager at Aviva Investors. Mr. Cho also was a fixed income credit analyst at UBS Group and a credit strategist at Pacific Investment Management Company. In addition, he was a macro credit strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He joined Franklin Templeton in 2021.

Mr. Cho holds a bachelor of science in Finance and Accounting from New York University's Stern School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
